NumberOne Backup Privacy Policy
NumberOne Backup transfers encrypted NumberOne backup archives to a private Google Drive folder designated by the catalogue owner. The app uses the Google Drive drive.file scope to create backups in its designated folder, read the metadata of those files, and download them to verify integrity or recover the catalogue.
Archives are encrypted on the NumberOne server before transfer. The app stores the Google authorization it needs to make these transfers in a protected configuration on that server. Backup archives can contain catalogue data, media, and operational records. The encryption key is kept separately from the Drive files.
Copies remain in the private Drive folder until the owner removes them. The owner controls sharing and can revoke the app’s authorization from their Google Account. Drive data is used for backup, integrity checks, and recovery. Questions can be sent to the support email displayed on the Google consent screen.
